Technical Assistance Projects
Seven Hills Rhode Island

The NTG assisted the Seven Hills Rhode Island organization, an Administration on Community Living Alzheimer's Disease Program Initiative grantee located in Woonsocket, Rhode Island, for two years.

 

Specifically, the NTG was involved as part of the grantee project planning team, provided trainings - both ad hoc and several NTG 2-3 day national ID and dementia curriculum workshops - and webinars, participated in the organization's capstone conference, and developed three caregiver guides:

Hawaii Catholic Charities

The NTG assisted for two years, Hawaii Catholic Charities, an ACL Alzheimer's Disease Program Initiative grantee located in Honolulu, Hawaii. 

 

Specifically, the NTG aided by providing webinars, and enabling access to the NTG's webinar archives, providing consultation and training on the use of the NTG-EDSD, the NTG's administrative screening instrument for dementia, and with  help adapting the Intellectual Disability and Dementia: A Caregivers' Resource Guide for Hawaii.

University of Nebraska Medical Center

The NTG aided the Nebraska Council on Developmental Disabilities and the Munroe-Meyer Institute in Omaha with the development of the Intellectual Disability and Dementia: A Caregiver's Resource Guide for Nebraskans, a project led by Janet Miller of the University of Nebraska's Medical Center.

University of Illinois at Chicago

The NTG is working with the HealthMatters Program at the University of Illinois at Chicago to adapt the Intellectual Disability and Dementia: A Caregiver's Resource Guide for national use as part of a 'road map' on intellectual and developmental disabilities.
