About the event

Research has grown exponentially in the areas of biomarkers and anti-amyloid therapeutics since NTG’s last webinar devoted to this topic which was held in October 2021. This panel presentation is intended to be an update, provide practical applications, lifespan and ethical considerations for individuals with Down syndrome and possible Alzheimer’s type dementia.

The panelists come from a variety of settings and reflect diverse experiences including the addition of a bioethicist to help navigate and understand the journey, especially regarding decisions. This will continue our conversation given the current research and evidence at the time of the webinar.

This webinar will be useful to clinicians, practitioners, families, providers, advocates, and others invested in the future for persons with Down syndrome. We are not able to offer CMEs or CEUs for this webinar.
