Join Us for a Specialized Workshop on Dementia-Capable Care for Adults with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities: October 21 & 22 (additional 3rd half-day on October 23 for those wishing to become NTG Affiliated Regional Trainers). See below for more information.
Funding generously provided by the Virginia Dept of Behavioral Health and Disability Services. This workshop is FREE but is only open to Virginia residents and staff.
Target Audience
This workshop is designed for individuals who have direct or indirect responsibilities in working with aging adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities within the disability or aging network. Previous participants have included professionals such as nurses, occupational therapists, physical therapists, speech therapists, day program staff, program managers and supervisors, direct support professionals, social workers, guardians, psychologists, Board Certified Behavior Analysts, behavior support specialists, quality assurance personnel, and case managers—essentially anyone involved with adults with IDD and dementia.
