A rim lock set is a complete door locking solution that includes a surface-mounted lock, matching door knobs, keys, escutcheons, and all necessary fixings. Unlike modern mortice locks, a rim lock is installed on the face of the door, making it easier to fit and maintain.

Rim lock sets are widely used in traditional homes and restoration projects because they combine both functionality and classic design in one convenient package.
